Coco's Kitchen plus Cheeky Monkey, Casa Isabel & Nacho d

10 days when we were in PV, we tried several restaurants – some new for us and a couple we’d tried just once before, a while back. One we really enjoyed was Coco’s Kitchen (on Pulpito 122 in the Southside, near Amapas) that friends took me to once in the past. This time around we ate there for lunch and dinner too. The place is real pleasant (mostly a leafy garden courtyard in the center of town) and the food we had was excellent - for dinner they were very open to changing a couple recipes to make Mexican dishes without meat (they were real good), and their margaritas were excellent too. It is a place I rarely see written up on the PV forums, and one we’d come to often if we lived in the area – real good food, nice people and place, not over priced, and well located near los Muertos beach.

Other places we enjoyed a lot were Cheeky Monkey (on the Malecon – dirt cheap and not bad drinks and food, along with great views and people watching), Casa Isabel (fantastic views and atmosphere, and pretty good food too), and nacho daddies (a lot of fun and decent tex-mex food in the heart of the Southside).
