No, the time will pass fast, not that far away. I asked because some restaurants, etc. close during summer for vacation or remodeling, etc. Everything will be in full force when you are there.

So what kind of food do you like? There are a ton of suggestions but we might as well make them for things you like. Price range you are looking for will help too.

Cafe Roma is great. Mariscos Tino's on the Malecon is great for seafood.

El Brujo, Encanto, Margaritaville, Cafe Bohemio (all on the southside). If you want to take a couple of trips out of the area to eat.....Ochos Tostadas in either the Marina or Across from Canto del Sol Resort, great local place for seafood. Las Adelitas in Fluvial. Cuale Pardise in Buenas Aires right on the river. One of my must do places each trip Tony's La Choza in Mismaloya, its like eating in a giant tree house in the jungle and the food is fantastic.

I don't frequent taco stands a lot but when I do I go to the ones that have tons of people at them. Don't miss the shrimp and fish on a stick on the beach.

I am sure other people will add their favorites now that we know what kind of food and prices you wanted.
