Bogart's is quite nice and very romantic. It is a designed to look like Rick's in the movie Casablanca but is mucch fancier. It is a bit pricey but certainly a wonderfull place for an anniversary. They have a piano and you can give him requests. We usually go once a year.

We've been to Bogarts once, and greatly enjoyed the experience. However, we've been to La Palapa several times, and for the last two years have our pictures taken at sunset by a wandering photographer while we're there. Pictures turned out great! Food has been excellent. We'll be back again next spring and look forward to adding to our pictures (in fact, I can see last spring's from where I sit, & it brings back some fine memories.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.

Bogart's, Si! Si!
My wife and I ate at Bogart's 2 years ago. We arrived at 6:00 so entrees were 2 for 1. We were escorted to a table where a Morrocan costumed waiter removed my wife's shoes and placed a pillow under her feet. We started out with pina coladas, we each had soup, a main course, shared a dessert and finished it off with flaming Mexican coffee. The total bill? I still have the stub, was less than US$50.00 - We will never forget the wonderful experience and plan on returning next winter.
Hey, Jeff. That is exactly what my husband and I thought, too! We were glad to have gone and seen it after hearing so much about it but are in no hurry to go back.lyrihn wrote:Once again, im the hard one to please . I thought Bogarts had a great atmosphere and was very comfortable. I liked the live piano music. The wine was overpriced, the deserts were not very good and the food was mediocre.
Service was excellent.
Ah yes, the flashlights. My eyes aren't what they used to be, I thought at first it was just me...
Truthfully, every restaurant has good and bad days. Our dinner at Bogarts was very good, including dessert. On the other hand, the only meal I've had at La Piazetta, recommended by most, was mediocre at best, not only for me but all 4 of us that night. Every course was *off*.
Overall, Bogart's is known for their food, I think it's a safe bet for a good meal, though not for an inexpensive one.

chico....Thank You for sharing the picture...
I am glad SylviaA's photo triggered a good memory for you..
Your wife Maria is very beautiful and from reading what she does to help the needy I know she is beautiful inside...
Lucky Guy you are...
Might be time for the 2 of you to have a night out at bogarts again...
