Thanks for all the information on the restaurants. We will have plenty to choose from once we get there. Thinking of going into Bucerias?sp. for some seafood. Thanks again.

If you go into Bucerias for some seafood, I would suggest that you go to Adriano's along the ocean. My wife had two different shrimp dinners there and adv that both were extremely good. She got about 30 good sized shrimp in one meal for about 70-80 pesos if I remember right. You can get them flavored several different ways. The atmosphere here is awesome, and you are right along the ocean.

If you get the chance to go to Bucerias... there used to be a place called Dugarels as well.. that is along the bay... and it was execellent... they had a lot of "fresh" catch of the day... but you needed to be there early to get some of this... we used to go with some friends from Wisconsin when we stated at the Hotel Sierra in Nuevo Vallarta.... but that was five years ago.... Have a great time ...

Dugarel's is still there. We had their specialty--red snapper--last January. It was very good.

Where is Bucerias?
Bucerias is north of PV and Neuvo Vallarta. Catch a bus that says Bucerias on the main highway heading towards Sam's . If you get a bus to the Sheraton or Gigante you can get off and catch the bus to Bucerias there . A nice beach retreat with a lot of nice restaurants.
Re:Restaurants
Bucerias is about 1/2 hour north of PV. It is like PV was before all the tourists began coming. We really like it..
