Favorite Mexican Cerveza? (poll)

A bottle of beer will also go "off" or become "skunked" if exposed to too much light. Obviously a clear bottle increases the liklyhood of this happening. Green bottles also allow too much light to impact the contents, Heineken is a notable example. I have read where experts feel that at least 50% of Heineken stateside is skunked to some degree.
Unfortunatly flourescent light will skunk the beer even if it is refrigerated.

ok it has been awhile since I have been back on the post. I had to see how the beer thingy was going. Now I only drink XX here in Michigan. It's not the same as in PV but it is close. I only wish I could find it by the case instead of buying it by the 6 pack all the time. I do use a lime when in MI but no lime when in PV.

Any of the top 6 sound good to me ,or if I say uno cerveza por favor ,I will drink it if it is handed to me,they all taste good on vacation,especially if your new friend hands it to you BECAUSE ITS FREE. I Do like modelo with a little salt on it, on top of the can. pacifico when I first arrive ,still only like lime in corona, I can get that here in indiana ,that is like drinking jose instead of don julio- like I said if its free no problem ,no bitching here

WOW!! Now that I have re-read all the posts on this subject. I believe it started a little following for some to try every beer on the list when they go to PV.

I believe I'll do the same next visit.

Drank Corona by the case last time we were there.
tried XX and Takate the last time in the roo-march.
After seeing this pole I might need to branch out....Not going til jan 09 but I can already taste it! YUM
ALso can't wait for the RUM punch!

OK, we just booked our next trip to PV last night. I am going to take this list and try all of them. Right now I am partial to XX but am looking forward to the "Cerveza Challenge".

anyone else going to take the "Cerveza Challenge"?

now it is almost a year since I last posted on this subject. Booked our April trip the other day and searched back specifically for this poll. I was kinda surprised Corona made a bit of a comeback.

I'll stick with XX but will be sure to dow a few of the others again this time around.

Soon very soon.....

Update on the 6 pack at a time here in Michigan. I found that a few of the local Kroger stores now carry XX by the 12 pack which saves me a few bucks. It's all I buy now. Still have a few in the fridge right now.

I voted Pacifico but if I could vote two I would ad Negro Modello.

It's essentially a toss-up.

During the day I prefer Pacifico at sunset on the balcony..Negro Modello.
