Morning all,

5 more sleeps until the kids and I head out for our first trip to Puerto Vallarta. My bag has been packed for well over a week!

I've pretty much asked every question possible on here except for SHOPPING!
We are staying at the Riu and will be heading into town a few times.
I would like to buy a Mexican blanket at the very least and possibly some silver (.925) and a sundress.

Where should I be going to take the boys shopping? The Malecon?

Is there a distinction between old PV and downtown PV?

I am so very thankful to have found these message boards!

Thank you to all who have replied and PM'd me with valuable information.
It is printed off and packed in my carry-on.

Can't wait to sample a variety of beer and I have my insulated mug ready and waiting for my cool drinks!
