Gyms, personal trainers?

Post by Luckie » Thu Feb 04, 2010 7:14 pm

What are there for gyms in PV? I've only been to the Gold's there, and other than the fitness centre in the resorts I don't know of any. Also, is it easy to find a personal trainer or lifestyle coach?

Is Gold's Gym still open? I saw it for sale on a real estate website.

Gold's is still listed on the official Gold's Gym International web site, so I'm assuming it's still open. I'll find out for sure in three weeks. :-)

Gold's still open

Since my last post, I went for two workouts at Gold's during the two weeks I was in PV. Whether it's for sale or not, it's functioning just fine. A single workout is 120 pesos, 10 dollars US. I didn't take advantage of the one-week deal this time because my "program" was to walk as much as possible. I actually liked it more than in the past because they've turned the music down to just loud rather than deafening. If you go "hydrate" as much as you can or you'll blow your allowance on bottled water :-)
