Grocery stores

we will be staying in a condo and doing some grocery shopping upon arrival, any recommendations on good, reasonably priced grocery stores/liquor stores would be appreciated. THANKS! also any recommendations in general would help.

What part of town will you be staying in? Gigante is a good one if you are in the Hotel Zone. Southside--I think I have seen people mention Rizzo's.

Walmart and Sam's club both have great selections.

The Mega at the south end of hotel zone is also good.

thank you for all your suggestions, we will be staying south of town, but will probably be taking a bus, so any along the bus route would be great!

On the southside you want Rizo's. There are signs pointing the way off Vallarta the main drag coming over the southbound bridge. A blue shopping cart logo. It 's large 2-story with all manner of fresh baked goods, groceries, canned good, juices, liquor, plus fresh produce, dairy, magazine, cosmetics downstairs - and upstairs, household stuff like towels, kitchenware, school suppliers, hardware, etc. One of my favorite places in PV!!
