Post

Hi
Anyone have any positive or negative information regarding Mexlend, the mortgage broker? A friend is thinking about getting a loan for a condo in PV.

how hard is it for Canadians to get financing? I think we need 30% down instead of the US' 20%??

i believe Canadians and U.S. citizens qualify the same. I would check in with a mexico mortgage lender.

Hi twah - I don't know if you're still wondering about Mexlend, but the same week you inquired, my PV agent (who is also Canadian) brought me to the Mexlend office. The broker I spoke to, Dan, seemed very professional and was very informative. I'm hoping my Toronto home will sell this weekend and that the sale will cover the entire cost of my new condo when | close in July, but if I need a top-up, I plan to work with Mexlend.
