Can a non-Mexican corporation own a property in Mexico?

Hello,
My questions is for the real estate experts. Can a non-Mexican corporation own a property in Mexico?
I have some clients interested in investing when the market stabilizes at a lower level but they wish to own it through a Panama Foundation which holds all their assets.
Is this possible in Mexico -- I know it is initially held by a trust for all gringos.

Not directly. However i believe that any legal entity can establish a mex corp and thereby control assets in Mexico. Check with an attorney here in mexico.
So basically the foreign corp would be a shareholder of a mex corp which would own the property
