Shrimp on a stick recipe request

Hi, My wife and I are frequent PV visitors and absolutely love the grilled shrimp the beach vendors sell. Sadly, I have not been able to find the recipe stateside and absolutely crave those delicious shrimp. Does anybody have a recipe for the sauce/marinade? Next trip is in June and I just cant wait any longer!!!!!!!
