Extreme Home Makeover – Monday, April 11th @ 11am – Be a part of an “Extreme Home Makeover” and help transform a house in Punta de Mita! The house is located on the main road of Corral del Risco (one block from Boca Deli) and was an abandoned eye-soar until bus company owners allowed PEACE volunteers and locals to bring it new life last December. All volunteers are welcome to help finish the job; installing a play area and planters, completing a mural, and cleaning up the area. Old clothes and a bottle of water are suggested. Wahine Surf Clinic – Monday April 25th – Wednesday April 28th @ 9am-11am. PEACE is partnering with California based organization, Wahine Project, to provide a free surf & yoga clinic to young women in the Punta de Mita area on El Anclote beach. The girls will do a small beach cleanup & yoga session, followed by a surf lesson! Contact Nicole@peacemexico.org to volunteer, or to provide surfboards and rash guards.
