Puerto Vallarta Forum (PV Bulletin Board)

I recently spent some time in Boca de Tomatlan and was given a notice that Vedanta and Hotel Harza Blanca have plans to build a privatized dam to conduct the Horcones River through a large 2 km long tube that would destroy the natural habitat of endangered species. The plan to build huge resorts along the southern coastline basically destroying Boca and the pristine coastline. I'm wondering what can be done by all of us who love that area.

I think that is old news and protests from the locals stopped the project. Could you include a reference to where you saw this so we can see if it's a new development or the old one that was already stopped.
