Anyone venture out to Punta Custodio or Platanitos? Am considering a villa there for a week. Is it too remote? How are the beaches? Any input appreciated...

It is pretty remote. Your nearest big town is San Blas which is about 20 minutes away. So no night life or shopping. It would be a nice quiet relaxing place. I don't think you can swim in the ocean there as the shore is rocky. You would have to go somewhere else to find a beach.
