Would you like to participate as a volunteer in Puerto Vallarta?


Every year more and more marine turtles come to nest in our beaches, laying more eggs, and we have not enough resources to take care of them and achieve our objectives.

As a Volunteer, you´ll support our cause, contributing with your time to the efforts carried out in Mexico to restore the marine turtles population.

Nesting season begins in june, ending in november. From july to october volunteers are welcome, being august and september the months with more activity.

A fellow (wonderful Photographer) on a Playa del Carmen forum I am a member of posted I think amazing photos of a turtle release..
Watch the babies being freed from their nests and see their trek to the Ocean.....

It was a very successful hatching, with 99 hatchlings out of 109 eggs

We were lucky enough to witness a group of men and 2 police officers digging baby turtles out of the sand and putting them into a crate,just a little ways down our beach.There was about 100 turtles alive, we saw the eggs and everything it was really amazing to watch.They told us they were taking them to clean them up and nurture them before they released them at night.
