Golden Crown

I just plugged in the Golden Crown for when we get down in two weeks. and $15.50 came up for our reservation price, which is what we paid back in February to get out of the International Airport to the resort. We do not lugg our stuff over the Bridge for the busses or other taxis. I will talk to lojo tonight and see if she wants to book our taxi now versus going to the booth, getting out ticket and out to the taxis....

thanks mogens...

You are right

There is a mistake there with Buenaventura, Villa Premiere that is right beside it costs 15.5, so I guess that will be the price for Buenaventura, I've sent a message to the rez team in Vallarta so they check all prices.

Thanks for that,

Mogens

more people options

It would help to be able to add additional people to the online taxi service. We have a party of 7 and would fit in a Suburban but the default quantity of people only goes up to 5. Can more people options be put online?

ISTR that $15.5 to the Buenaventura is a good deal. In 2007, we paid $18 to Los Tules.

PVR transportation

Just returned from PV Friday. Since we were travelling with a small child
and extra baggage I decided to book a Suburban from this site. We got
SUPER SERVICE. A senorita was standing at the service desk in Customs
holding a sign with our name. She directed us to another senorita just
outside the shark tank. In their office, free bottles of cold water for each member of our party; and off to Club Regina within five minutes. We will
use this service again next year.

Wow, I'll use the service next time then... just in case I don't really know how it works as I am in GDL and only helped coordinate the programming of the taxi section :-) It's actually quite cool to hear it's good after all... hehehe, thanks for the review.

Taxi service

How does one go about using this taxi service if they are unsure of the date of arrival? We will probably arrive on the 22nd, but will not know for sure until the last minute-with no access to the Internet...

We have heard some awful stories about the airport timeshare sharks, which have been validated by stories read on this site.

Thanks,
scarlett

I'm not sure in this case. Please call the toll free number on the headers on this forum and ask for Leonel, he might be able to guide you (use the hotel reservations option).

How do you reserve for a zone? Our condo not on hotel list, do we pick a hotel close by and go from there? We know the zone and address we are going to, but we don't want any surprises..... :D

You can call the 1888 number and make sure how you can do it. Better safe than sorry :-) I guess they'll tell you which hotel to choose in your specific case.

I'm arriving on Saturday and was thinking of booking my cab with this service. The only thing that makes me nervous is giving my security code on the credit card.
Can I pay cash when I get there?

We are going to give it a try for my sister and her family for our arrival Nov. 22nd. We'll be sure and report back and let you know how it went.

Since my Dad is in a wheel chair, we are using Accessible Mexico for the 4 of us and reserved them back in Feb. 2008 and have been in touch with them reguarly. I think they will take good care of us as well.

Yes I know, but I thought I would support this board and book my transportation here. Giving out my security code # on my credit card is past my comfort zone though. I'll just get a cab at the airport like I usually do.

Considering PuertoVallarta.net has been around since 1999 and that we keep an open forum, it'd be rather obvious if we were cloning or misusing credit card info. We'd be out of business. Now, if you never give out your CC info, Amazon, Expedia, etc., then, yes, don't do so on PuertoVallarta.net either :-)

As a matter of fact Mogens, I do not shop online. So I may be a little naive in thinking that I should not give my security code out online. I was not for a minute suggesting that Puertovallarta.net was misusing cc info, merely that I was not comfortable giving out the security code.
I guess that's me told.
