car importing

I have an FM3 but my wife does not. I brought in a street motorcycle to Mexico last year and left it at our flat. This year, we want to drive down in a car and leave it in PV. Can I do that in my name? Should I "nationalize" my moto? We think we want a US car so we can take it off insurance when we are not here and because the fees are lower. Any advice?

I'm not sure on that one, what I do know is that you can only have one car in your name in the country at a certain time, this would mean you'd either have to take the car back into the US or legalize it in the country before bringing a second one in. I have a feeling it's the same with motorcycles.
