SAN FRANCISCO--JANUARY 29, 2009-- AeroMexico just announced new service to Mexico from San Francisco with fares to multiple cities for only $199 roundtrip. Service starts on Feb. 12, and fares are good for travel through Dec. 10.

Other airlines have slashed prices to try matching this sale, but AeroMexico still has the best prices on these routes by up to $200.00 and by far the best availability.

Fly for $199.00 roundtrip to:

- Mexico City (nonstop)
- Puerto Vallarta
- Acapulco
- Cancun
- Los Cabos
- Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo
- Mazatlan
- Leon/Bajio (Guanajuato)
- Guadalajara

Business class (Clase Premiere) fares are $499 roundtrip for the routes listed above, excluding Oaxaca. Business class fares on other airlines run $800.00-$1,000.00.

Taxes are approximately $100.00 extra. You must book by Feb. 5.

Always on the lookout for cheap flights from SFO. Are the flights nonstop?

i haven't checked out the actual flight info, but if they are starting service united, alaska and mexicana will match the cheap fares and they all fly nonstop. 4 choices for flights is excellent.

I looked.....just to see the times....all go through Mx. City. The early flight has the best times. The one around noon has a 5 hr lay-over in Mx. City.....no thanks! Coming home has some longish layovers in Mx. City too. Alaska has $320 RT from LA so I am sure they and others will be getting into the same ball park on prices.

I am going to be traveling from KC in May and am trying to find cheap airfare, but all I've found so far is about $450 per ticket which isn't really bad I guess if it means we get to return to paradise.
