soo... nobody knows anything about the buses to Bar de Navidad?
I take it that it might be the same company that takes you to San Blas or San Sabatian? Maybe I will try them...

anybody got any ideas where to start?

thanks,

Patty

my friend remembers it being a long bus ride on a bad bumpy road. lonely planet says it's 210 kilometers from pv. he took a cab back and said it was worth the extra money. there is also a drug scene there that unfortunately he got caught up in. he was robbed and beaten up on the beach one night. this was awhile back so hopefully the road is better, and you won't get caught up in the drug scene.

Thanks for the info.
I don't think I want to go at all now. (yikes)
Would never get caught up in the drug scene... I work for the Dept. of Justice!

cheers,

Patty

if you want to venture out of pv, north to rincon de guyabitos or playa chacala is worth the trip. you can camp right on the beach at chacala, many places to stay in guyabitos.
