We want to take the bus to Las Ochos Tostados in the marina (or as close as we can get to it). What would we tell the bus driver the stop we are going to?
Thanks!

What do the Buses cost and how long do they run
We will be returning to PV this October and have decided to use the buses if for $ alone would reason enough. Staying at the Golden Crown Paradise Resort by the Marina, we figure that a bus stop would be close that would take us down town for the day and then back in the evening. We have heard that the trip one-way is around 5 perso 50 per person. Also, returning before dark to our hotel, just to be on the safe side. Also, this may not be the right forum, but is there a FEDEX or UPS or DHS outlet close to the marina area? We have never had any problems in PV, but we always used common sense and never invited it! PV is a nice place for us to come visit each year and we love it.

You can take the bus marked Centro which will take you to the malecon and if you stay on it until the end it will take you to the south side. If you want to go a different way to the southside you can take the bus marked tunel and it will take you directly to the southside. I believe the buses have gone up to 6.5 pesos. They raised them the first of the year but there was a protest and they were reconsidering them, so I am sure someone who has been down there recently will verify the fare. No need to worry about being back before dark, the buses run late for the workers that get off work at 10:30/11:00 p.m. There are always alot of people waiting at the bus stops so you don't have to worry about standing on the street alone in the dark, if that was what you were thinking about.
There is a mail boxes plus office right on the street in front of Plaza Caracol. AND
