I'll say it again. the puerto vallarta . net taxi service from the airport
is the best . i'm the kind of traveller who arrives weary and confused.
it feels so good to see my name at the VIP taxi desk .
then to be told, "go get your bag and we will be waiting for you with this sign
as you exit the shark tank" - what a sense of relief. what a nice way
to ease into a comfy pv vacation. VIP service at an affordable rate.
do yourself a favor . get a pv dot net taxi for your arrival at PVR.
you deserve it too.

What happens if your flight is delayed for any reason? Do they come back, do they wait, do they just cancel your reservation? This is what has stopped me from booking it in the past.

there for you

last year, my cousin's plane was late arriving at PVR
and she said the VIP taxi people were very enthusiastically
there for her. (and it was like 9 or 10 pm)

since they know which flight you are on, and they see
when the flights come in, they're expecting you.

give it a try, and if you don't like it ...........
i'll eat my hat (sombrero)

also, they have phone numbers you could have with you,
just in case.

We used this service on our last trip to PV and it was wonderful. Our flight wasn't late but I'm sure they do watch that since they ask for your flight number. My only problem was on my credit card end. I had to call them at least 3 times to get it authorized even after I called them before I even tried to make my reservation to tell them that I would be doing that. I finally got it straightened out but it was pretty frustrating. Hopefully, next year it won't be so bad.

i know what you mean

Yeah, i know what you mean about the credit card thing.
I'm glad my credit card company wants to prevent improper charges,
but it seems like they can also get over protective.

Why does it happen with this taxi service?
They are a great service, but what exactly is the name
of the company? VIP or AeroMovil or Proinco or PuertoVallarta . net

Altho I'm an avid fan, I'm confused as to exactly what their name is.
Maybe that is why the credit card companies get wary.
This is a good, legitimate business that merits our support.

If i'm off target, sorry. but if anyone could gently mention this
to the taxi people, maybe it could help them in the long run
(and i'm being selfish - i want them to stay in service ,
to be available for me in future - ojala .

I went back and checked my statement and it's listed as Proinco. I remember the CC company saying it was a direct marketing company and that's why they kept denying the charge. It all worked out in the end but it was frustrating at the time. I've since canceled that card so we'll see how another one works next time I guess. I really did like using the service.

Hi I had the same problem with the credit card..only my problem was I authorized $30( as it said online when I made the reservation) and the company charged $30.23 so my credit card company denied the charge.. it was only 23 cents so I didn't care what the decrepancy was..I just wanted my taxi! My question is when I recieved the confirmation I got an email saying to print the coupon and bring it to the taxi desk...I thought someone would meet us wiht our name on a sign and guide us thru the shark tank! Does anyone know if this is the case/ Where is the taxi desk?

After you go through customs and before you get to the baggage area there will be some booths along the wall. Check in there and they'll have a sign with your name on it. They don't go through the shark tank with you but will meet you right outside the shark tank to your right with that same sign. From there they'll take you over to their booth and set you up with your taxi. Just don't talk to the timeshare sharks and you'll be fine. I don't even really look at them as I walk through. Have fun!

thanks Sandy! We usually walk across the bridge and get the ones on the street..but there are 4 of us this time and we'd need 2 taxis so it would have been the same amount as the van and we wouldn't have to drag our luggage so this was more convenient! I can't wait..it's been a long NY winter!!
