Maritime Terminal Car Rentals

Arriving on a cruise ship in late March, but only for a day. I would like to rent a car to visit friends near Rincon de Guayabitos (where I have previously wintered), but having some difficulty figuring out how to book one. Someone told me there was a Hertz across the street near Walmart, but I can't contact them on line. Does anyone know of other companies in the cruise port area? Thanks

Try contacting Gecko Car Rental in Bucerias. I know they will pick customers up at the airport and return them so they may be able to arrange to meet you with your rental car right near the terminal. Everyone seems very satisfied with their service, rates and cars.
