Average "Liability" car insurance rate?

Rental cars are pretty cheap down here... but if memory serves me correctly... it's the liability insurance that gets you.

Anyone know what the mandatory liability insurance costs per day? I'll be renting a Nissan Tsuru or similar.

I believe collision is covered by my VISA card.

Never mind.... I got the car (Brand new Nissan Versa) on Priceline.com for $15.00/day and the Liability Insurance was $14.00/day.

Just as I remembered... the insurance is about the same as just renting the car. Still not bad though... to rent a golf cart here in Sayulita is roughly $85/day. Total ripoff.
