Does anyone have a suggestion as to the best way to get from the airport to Nuervo Vallarta (Playa del Sol Grand)? THANKS!!

Check with the hotel. It might have a shuttle between the airport and the hotel. Taxi is the next best option.

Most obvious, if your hotel offers a shuttle service from the airport, check into how to arrange that.
Easiest (and my personal recommendation) just pay for a regulated (white) airport taxi cab at the ticket window before you exit the airport. They will point you to the next available driver. Prices are set by zone, no bartering. You can pay in US cash or peso.
Somewhat cheaper, exit the airport, cross the highway and hire a yellow town cab (not airport regulated so less expensive, and some wiggle room in the fares).
Most adventuresome, if you don't have luggage, exit the airport and catch a public bus.
