Hilo, The Zoo, Carlos O'Briens, Senor Frogs are incredibly expensive for drinks. You will pay more for a Corona than you pay for any drinks in the US. They all average around 35-40 pesos a beer. The Zoo is the biggest rip off. Some friends were told that drinks were 2 for 1. So they each ordered a Rum and Coke. The waiter then brought them 4 drinks and asked for $280 pesos. So they questioned the 2 for 1, and he said the price was 140 pesos per drink. Another friend asked for a bottle of water, and they wanted 40 pesos, he then asked for a glass of ice water and they said No. So, we had 12 people drinking alcohol and they would not give the one person a glass of water. We walked up the street to Bebo Tero and paid 25 pesos per beer.
