Best place for sunsets

Post by hawaiiantropic » Mon Oct 15, 2007 2:00 pm

Where's the BEST place to see a sunset in PV? I'm sure it's beautiful everywhere, but does anybody know where there is a really spectacular view?

from the 10th floor (outdoors bar) at El Panorama. Great view of the whole town. If you dont not have dinner at least have a drink up there. Great mexican coffee. Also, after dark you can watch the fireworks from the pirate ship cruise.

Las Carmelitas has a view that can't be beat, plus the ride up and back is fun!

The roof top bar "El Nido" is a beautiful place to watch the sunset as well. The pina coladas are fabulous there.

Le Kliff or as said in an earlier post, El Panorama. Both are spectacular.

For me, you can't beat just sitting on the beach to watch ol' Sol settle down for the night. 8)

You know davilin I have to agree with you...
and..if you are lucky you will see the big round sun ball fall into the Ocean.. :) I prefer watching the sunset with as few people around me as possible..I like hearing the Ocean and maybe hearing childrens laughter and hushed voices in the distance.. That helps make a perfect sunset for me...

Very nice, Sylvia.
And, yes, looking over the town and out to the bay from Sr. Pepe's is gorgeous.

the view i'll agree with you, the ride......well, check your brakes first.
someone told me last year that the circular building project just above
the restaurant was scheduled to be a nightclub!?
are you kidding, a drive like that after cocktails!

Yup, you heard right. The circular building up at Carmelita's is going to be a disco. Not sure when it's due to open though. Yeah, that's a crazy ride down even when you're sober!!

Thanks for the gorgeous sunset, Sylvia. Makes me homesick.

For Princie, best things to do in Puerto Vallarta, a previous and detailed thread: viewtopic.php?t=12719

Regarding cost, the best option for sunsets is on the beach :-)
