New Club Open

Hey all, there is a new club opened on the Malecon. For you old timers, it is the corner where Club 69 and Macambo used to be....right next to the Zoo. I watched over the past few months as they worked 24 hours a day and I was surprised it was not ready in November. But a friend just told me that they had their Grand Opening on December 23rd. Said it is 3 floors with a restaurant and disco and that it is gorgeous. He said the letters are kind of arabic and there is a big buddah inside and it is owned by the same guy that owns Hilo. If I understood him correctly, I think he said it is called Mandala. So, a new place to check out. Plus the new Senior Frogs that opened on that corner behind the lighthouse on the Malecon. There will be several new establishments to check out this year.

Hi Gang,

Yes the new bar is indeed called Mandala. Kahlua's also used to be located there at one point. It looks quite massive compared to anything else, but it is really neat looking.

We were the very first of five visitors at the grand opening on the 23rd. Same idea kinda place as Hilo, The Zoo, however, it's great for people watching during the late afternoon.

we will be at the GCP from 9th - 23rd of February.... i don't know about any invasion this year... except we will be partying just about every night or every other night at Andales....

we are have a post where we are meeting up at Burros Bar on the beach on Sunday night the 10th around 530 or so.... come on down... check for Mrs Crown's post with all the invites....

I didn't know about the meet-up on the 10th at Burros. That just happens to be my very favourite beach bar with my very favourite waiter and my very favourite drink. SSSsooooooo....thong dancing by sunset anyone????

We spent our New years on this club. It was the bomb. So much fun, people outside on the malecon and the club was full! I think this is the best club in PV, but De santos is good to. Senior Frogs is overrated, it sucks!

Mandala is a little more expencive than the other clubs. But it is so good!

Planet Hollywood building. The last time we were there it was closed and the sign may have said TRex or something like that. That's such a nice buidling.

Yes, Sr. Frog's opened up in the old Planet Hollywood building last Fall.

for the information about Sr. Frog's new location. I cannot wait to get back down and walk the Malecon!!! So many changes, exciting ones.....
