If you are looking to watch Sports and are not looking to eat a dinner, the place is La Escondida on Jacarandas & Madero. It is really like the Mexican rendition of Cheers. Seating is comfortable and the Bar service is great. Usually Suzanne the owner has something to eat on Sundays. Our favorite place for watching Football and a pre dinner and/or late night drink. A home away from home.

a little known secret is that dave once in a while goes all out and makes ribs
im telling you this becausae often there a question as to where the best ribs are
dave makes the best hands down
i went in to this place after work once in the summer to find these nice little morsels i BEGGED for more
