12 thousand passengers arrive in Vallarta in triple arrivals
The Carnival Panorama, the Koningsdam, and the Norwegian Bliss arrived in Puerto Vallarta on Wednesday, marking the last triple arrival of cruise ships in November. These ships carried more than 12,000 guests and more than 4,000 crew members. The Norwegian Bliss, which docked at pier one early in the morning with 4,593 passengers and 1,690 crew members; the Koningsdam, which docked at pier two with 2,820 passengers and 972 crew members; and the Carnival Panorama, which docked at pier three with 4,765 cruise passengers and 1,439 crew members, are all continuing to bring tourists to Puerto Vallarta. As a result, over 28 million pesos in economic revenue were produced. The Disney Wonder will arrive on Thursday. It only visits this port four times a year but is one of the most photogenic cruise ships in Puerto Vallarta.
The Administration of the Puerto Vallarta National Port System also stated that it is dedicated to upholding quality standards in all of the services it offers and that the Traffic Department of City Hall is stepping up security at the crosswalk outside the Maritime Terminal so that guests can cross safely to go to the commercial district and downtown. Additionally, the Jalisco Department of Transportation has workers for mobility outside the marine terminal buildings since thousands of cruise ship passengers are picked up by tourist trucks and other permitted vehicles, which requires prudence and accelerating traffic.
Additionally, it can be seen on ASIPONA that many visitors purchase a tour of the bay so they can enjoy their destination for a few hours, while others cross to buy supplies or take a cab or truck to Puerto Vallarta’s downtown or boardwalk. By the end of 2022, double-digit arrivals are anticipated for December.
