At least 4 thousand spring breakers will arrive in Puerto Vallarta this year.

This season, at least 4,000 spring breakers will visit Puerto Vallarta, bringing with them a significant economic contribution to the region. Christian Preciado, who oversees the Municipal Tourism Directorate, reaffirmed this.

An official from the municipality stated, “We have about 4,000 spring breakers confirmed for the season, who will arrive at several hotels and also rent several villas in Puerto Vallarta, of course,” noting that there are numerous companies interested in bringing this type of traveler to the location.

The person in charge of tourism in the municipality predicts that this year’s occupancy will be extremely strong and that it will likely continue to get better over time based on the national and international projections that the Catrina brought to Puerto Vallarta.

“The expectation is great,” he continued, “because we have very good expectations that the season here in Puerto Vallarta will continue to develop and that there will be no bad seasons, thankfully for us.” Apart from the fact that Puerto Vallarta has become extremely popular with the Catrina theme,

More than 40 billion pesos in economic revenue were generated in 2022 by more than 5.9 million tourists, according to information from the Jalisco Ministry of Tourism.
