Danish Bakery ‘Litten Brød’

Litten Brød (Danish for little bread) was founded by Brian Bielenberg and Jupy Monarrez. This artisan danish bakery opened its doors back in February (2020) at Lázaro Cárdenas 311, Emiliano Zapata, in the Romantic Zone, with the concept of Hygge: ‘A quality of coziness & comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or well-being.’

The traditions of baking authentic cakes, rustic sourdough breads and other classic Danish bakery products inspired the creation of the establishment.

In the search for authenticity, everything is baked daily by the chefs, including several types of traditional danish bread, like rugbrød (rye bread), trekorns brød (three seeds), hvedebrød (wheat bread), and hvidt brød (white bread), among others. Plus, sandwiches made from the bread and with an assortment of fillings.

Litten Brød also offers sweet bakery made up of cakes, Mazarin, and pastries. And to accompany these specialties, they have several hot and cold drinks available.

Litten Brød is open Monday to Sunday from 8:00am to 7:00pm (current temporary schedule).
