Government Begins Talks About PV’s National Archeological Museum

Vallarta’s Municipal government and the business sector of the region met with representatives of the INAH regarding the construction of Puerto Vallarta’s National Archeological Museum, the first in the country outside of Mexico City.

To add to the city’s cultural attractions, Alicia García Vázquez, director of the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) of Jalisco, met with representatives of the business sector and the municipal government to define the details regarding the construction of Puerto Vallarta’s National Archeological Museum.

It is expected that this cultural facility becomes an educational venue that allows residents and visitors to obtain documentary information about Vallarta · Nayarit’s history and identity, thanks to the diverse pieces and expositions that will be held at this place.

This space will be unique for the region, as it is expected to become the first museum of its kind outside of Mexico City.
