“One Hundred Years, One Hundred Approaches” Expo

In honor of the 100th Anniversary of our town, 16 talented photographers have organized a “One hundred years, one hundred approaches” non-profit expo showing images of Puerto Vallarta throughout its history.

By noon, during the 15 days the expo will be open, a series of workshops will be available with topics like “Perspective and photojournalism”, “Composition of the image” and”The best angle of photography”. In addition, the artist Ernesto Garrido has created a Psychogeographic mural that will be visualized in the access to the exhibition area.

The opening of the event took place on April 15th at 18:00 hrs in a place nearby Suites Marbella. Locals will be able to attend until 30th, from 12:00 to 20:00 hrs, to delight with Vallarta’s photographs taken from an inspiring, changing, and full of history perspective, which they probably don’t know. To access will be necessary to present a padlock, which can be acquired at the entrance by $20 pesos, and that will be used to create a sculpture symbolizing the love for sand  and the spirit of eternity that the beautiful mountain landscapes transmit, enclosing the whole story in a hundred years of Puerto Vallarta.
