Puerto Vallarta adds 4 beaches with Blue Flag distinction

The list of Vallarta beaches that have earned the Blue Flag Certificate now includes Playa de Oro Beach.

Municipalities and private enterprises were happy to earn this honor at the Crown Paradise Hotel, where the award was presented.

The executive director of the Foundation for Environmental Education Mexico, Joaquin Diaz Rios, highlighted this honor during the occasion and added that it is a source of pride for all Vallartenses as well as for the city’s officials and businesspeople.

Getting this certification was up to Councilwoman Sara Mosqueda, who worked for Mayor Luis Alberto Michel Rodriguez.

Camarones Beach, Palmares Beach, Tranquila Beach, and Playa de Oro Beach are the four Blue Flag beaches in Puerto Vallarta at the moment.

One of the most significant international organizations for certifying beaches, marinas, and boats is called Blue Flag. It helps make sure that coastal areas around the world are managed in a way that doesn’t hurt the environment, and it gives awards to people who are great at being aware of the environment, managing water quality, and running things.
