Puerto Vallarta Marathon 2020

The third edition of the Puerto Vallarta Marathon has been announced for April 2020, and is expected to gather three thousand athletes, according to Humberto Muñoz, the marathon’s General Director.

“This 2020 edition, our third, will take place on April 26, and will offer three distances; Marathon with 42km and 195m, Half Marathon with 21km and 97m, and a recreational race with 5km.”

The director noted they have high expectations for the marathon, with over three thousand athletes expected to race through the streets of Puerto Vallarta.

He also noted that the announcement is being made this far in advance because the participants of the marathon require time to schedule and train, which means around four months to get ready for the event.
