Puerto Vallarta will bid farewell to the year with a pyromusical show on the boardwalk and welcome 2024

Puerto Vallarta is set to host a grand celebration in the heart of the city to say goodbye to 2023 and usher in 2024, featuring an enticing program organized by the municipal government that will kick off at six in the evening at the Malecón’s Arcos.

On December 31 and the early hours of New Year’s Day, through the Vallartense Institute of Culture in coordination with SEAPAL Vallarta and the Department of Tourism and Economic Development, the program will commence with a performance by the northern group “Los Tres del Ranchito,” followed by live mariachi music at 7:30 in the evening.

At 8:15 in the evening, the stage will welcome the Vallarta-based band “Komando MR” with their attractive melodies and poignant lyrics in their distinctive blend of Latin rhythms and traditional Mexican sounds. At 10:15 in the evening, the versatile group ‘Los Dinámicos’ will take the stage with their extensive repertoire and a guaranteed lively atmosphere featuring cumbia, salsa, merengue, grupera, northern ballad, rock in English and Spanish, retro music, and more.

Shortly before midnight, a countdown will mark the farewell to the last seconds of 2023, and a novel pyromusical show will welcome the first minutes of 2024 in a multicolored spectacle illuminating the bay’s sky.

To cap off the evening, La Sonora Dinamita de Javier Argain will take the stage, ensuring everyone dances with hits like “El hombre del Sombrerón,” “La Cadenita,” “El capullo y el sorullo,” “La suavecita,” and many more successes that have kept generations in Mexico moving to the rhythm of cumbia.

The attendance of thousands of Vallartenses and tourists is expected, prompting the implementation of a special operation by municipal authorities and other government entities to ensure the safe enjoyment of this grand celebration.
