The Puerto Vallarta International Sports Classic kicks off

This year there will be basketball tournaments, soccer tournaments and a recreational race with a cause to conclude the activities.

This event arises in 1990, being the former Canadian basketball team Howard Kelsey who created it. Regarding soccer, Engineer Armando Cosilión, organizer of sports events, mentioned that this year there will be more than 100 teams participating in the Vallarta Cup in different categories, from various states of the republic; in basketball there will be 20 teams in Free and Veteran categories from Canada, the United States and Mexico, resulting in more than 3,000 participants.

Next Sunday will be the finals of the competitions, and the 5-kilometre race will also be held. The registration will consist of donating a kilo of food to be donated to the Comprehensive Assistance Center for the Elderly of the DIF.

The basketball games will take place in the auditorium of the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Unit, the soccer games of the Vallarta Cup in various fields in the city, and the race will be tomorrow, Sunday at 8:00 a.m., the starting point It will be the Sports Unit.
