Trofeo Thierry Blouet Returns to PV

The Trofeo Thierry Blouet makes a return to Puerto Vallarta after 15 years, it will take place on March 4th 2020 at Estación Gourmet de la Universidad de Guadalajara.

15 years after its first edition in Banderas Bay, the Trofeo Thierry Blouet is back, one of the most anticipated gastronomical competitions that award the ability, creativity and talent of Mexican young chefs, who prove their skills by using specific ingredients to create a sample menu for five people in a limited time.

This year, each contestant will have to use ingredients such as eggs and foie gras for the appetizer, pork’s Tomahawk for the main dish, and tequila for the dessert. These creations will be evaluated by a jury headed by Gerard Dupont, chef and honorary president of the Académie Culinaire de France, along with other national and internationally known chefs.

The contest and the award ceremony of XV Trofeo Thierry Blouet, will take place on March 4th 2020 at Estación Gourmet de la Universidad de Guadalajara (Av. Francisco Villa 480, Libramiento), at 8:00pm featuring a special four course dinner with drinks and service included, for the attendees. The price to enjoy this delicious gastronomical experience is $1,100 pesos per person.
