Puerto Vallarta is the preferred tourist destination for organizers of national and international sporting events, so this month and next, among those scheduled is Vallarta Race, which is the regatta competition that will reach the bay, Tourist Route and the International Marathon.

Vallarta Race is organized by the San Diego Nautical Club, it is one of a kind and has a great reputation thanks to its challenging course, competitiveness, spring winds, spectacular full moon during the competition and a great finish in Bahía de Banderas.

This traditional regatta, which began in 1953, begins off the coast of San Diego, California, and ends in the warm waters of Puerto Vallarta. This year, the best yachts will participate as usual.

Likewise, the Tourist Route is a cycling event that unites the bicycle-loving community. There are 3 distances to choose from:

21km (leaving Puerto Mágico, returning in Las Juntas) suitable for all ages.
72km (return in La Manzanilla, Cruz de Huanacaxtle) suitable for intermediates
100km (return in Punta Mita) suitable for advanced.

It is a recreational ride that encourages the use of bicycles and coexistence with people who love cycling from all over the Mexican Republic and abroad. And this event will be held on March 26.

Added to this is the Puerto Vallarta International Marathon, which will take place on April 3, with more than 200 thousand pesos in prizes.
This marathon has a route of 26.2 miles (42.195 km), also with the race of 13 and 3.1 miles (21 km and 5 km).
