Vallarta’s beaches suitable for recreational use during these vacations

The beaches in Puerto Vallarta are suitable for recreational use during this winter vacation season, according to Dr. Jaime Alvarez Zayas, director of the Eighth Sanitary Region. The doctor stated that the Commission for the Protection Against Sanitary Risks of the State of Jalisco is continually monitoring the water of the beaches, and they are clean owing to the impending vacation period.

I have the most recent monitoring data for the week, and it shows that all of the beaches are OK for recreational usage because enterococci levels have not been exceeded. He said that, as was done with the pilgrimages, they would again reiterate the importance of inspecting food establishments. “At this time, no one has complained to us about getting sick after eating meals, especially during the recent pilgrimages, although we do it haphazardly and don’t expect anyone to complain about us so far because the conditions are good.”

On the other hand, lvarez Zayas asked both residents and visitors to use caution when consuming alcohol, to drink in moderation, to abstain from driving while inebriated, and to avoid swimming after drinking or eating. Additionally, he asked parents to watch over their kids to prevent drownings, which are all too common during the summer and may be prevented.
