WesMex International Small Boat Regatta 2020

The WesMex International Regatta 2020 will be held at Nuevo Vallarta’s Vallarta Yacht Club on from March 5-8.

The Vallata Yacht Club (VYC) in Nuevo Vallarta is pleased to host this regatta, considered among the most important ones in the Mexican Circuit, and it has also gained some recognition as the best small boat race in the Banderas Bay. Wesmex Regatta is a required qualifier for North American Championships as well as World Championships in Italy this year for both the Optimist and Laser Fleets.

The WesMex is organized by the VYC and backed by the Federación de Vela de México, the Asociación de la Clase Optimist México (AMVCO), the Asociación México Laser Class and the Club 420 Clase.

Pirate Party at Vallarta Yacht Club on Friday, March 6 19:00-21:00: All children and adults who are children at heart are encouraged to bring pirate clothes/costumes to WesMex. Start practicing your “Arrgh”!
