Puerto Vallarta is expected to have a ‘satisfactory’ summer season

Puerto Vallarta is looking towards a satisfactory summer season, local government is expecting hotel occupancy to average 75% with over fifty thousand rooms rented, including rented homes and apartments.

This is what Javier Aranda Pedrero, Director of Puerto Vallarta’s Tourism Trust had to say about the upcoming summer, even when it has been a slow summer up until now.

He also pointed out Puerto Vallarta is very well positioned thanks to all the work promoting the destination, “We’ve been working very close with the industry, and everything points towards a very satisfactory summer.”

The director explained around fourteen thousand rooms will be occupied by tourists exclusively in Puerto Vallarta hotels, including rented houses and apartments plus the Riviera Nayarit, the number goes up to fifty thousand.
