The marine life is bountiful in Banderas Bay, so turtle and tropical fish enthusiasts will have plenty to enjoy.

What You’ll See When You Scuba Dive in Las Caletas
Las Caletas Beach Hideaway is a Vallarta Adventures private, protected beach located on the Southern shore of Banderas Bay. This shore dive will put you eye-to-eye with garden eels, jawfish, eagle rays, manta rays, large schools of colorful tropical fish and our resident sea turtle. It’s one of the finest dive sites on the Pacific Coast of Mexico for the marine life alone, plus there is a natural reef nearby.

  • Note: There is a 28 Pesos (About $1.50 USD) Per Person Marina Entrance Fee.

Restrictions

  • Minimum age is 10 years.
  • Expecting mothers are restricted
  • Based on PADI’s flying after diving recommendations, beginner Divers shouldn’t fly within 12 hours after a dive; Certified Divers shouldn’t fly within 18 hours after two or more dives in a day.
  • Guests with respiratory, cardiovascular or ear problems are restricted
  • Good mental and physical conditions are required
  • Guests under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed
