The Puerto Vallarta International Airport has inaugurated a new route to Las Vegas in collaboration with Alaska Airlines
Airport Director Cryshtian Amador Lizardi expressed enthusiasm for the opening of this route, emphasizing its significance for the region in establishing a direct link with the prominent American tourist destination. This development serves as an additional stimulus for the growth of passenger traffic, which has seen a 10% increase year-to-date compared to the same period in 2022. Juan Enrique Suárez del Real Tostado, Secretary of Tourism for the state of Nayarit, shared his excitement about the new direct flight, highlighting Nayarit as a luxury destination in Mexico and an ideal location for vacations, meetings, and events. He invited residents and visitors from Las Vegas to explore the beautiful coasts, outdoor adventures, exquisite gastronomy, and the authenticity of the Magical Towns in the region, offering a tourism experience not to be missed. The newly inaugurated route will be operated with an Embraer E175 aircraft with a capacity for 76 passengers and a duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes. It will provide four weekly frequencies on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with an average monthly capacity of 1,216 seats.
