The municipality of Puerto Vallarta has announced an ambitious project aimed at enhancing the visual appeal and urban identity of the city’s historic downtown. The initiative, known as “Fachada Vallartense,” will involve a comprehensive beautification campaign focusing on improving building facades.
A key component of the project is the development of a color palette that respects the city’s architectural heritage while allowing for a diverse range of options. Dr. Jimena Vanina Odetti, from the Jalisco Institute of Technology in Puerto Vallarta, collaborated with Benjamin Moore to create a palette inspired by traditional terra cotta tones, with white as the dominant color. This palette offers a harmonious and visually appealing range of choices for property owners.
By promoting a unified and aesthetically pleasing appearance for downtown Puerto Vallarta, the municipality aims to enhance the city’s overall appeal and attract more visitors. The project is expected to have a positive impact on both the local economy and the quality of life for residents.
