The municipal government of Puerto Vallarta has approved nine significant infrastructure projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents. The projects, which were greenlit by the Public Works Adjudication Committee, are part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the city’s infrastructure and overall livability.
Among the approved projects is the paving of Avenida Federación near Calle Revolución in the Lomas del Coapinole neighborhood and Calle UNAM between Guadalajara and Campestre Las Cañadas. These improvements will significantly enhance traffic flow and reduce dust and potholes in these areas.
Additionally, the construction of new domes for the Urbana 1064 Elementary School in the Morelos y Pavón neighborhood and the multi-purpose court in Las Palmas has been authorized. These domes will provide much-needed covered spaces for sports, recreational, and educational activities, protecting users from the elements.
Other approved projects include the paving of Calle Océano Antártico, commonly known as Camino a Playa Grande, in the Cristóbal Colón neighborhood, as well as various streets in the Lomas del Progreso neighborhood. These improvements will enhance connectivity and accessibility throughout the city.
