Notable new additions to the Preferred Hotels & Resorts family in Mexico include Palafitos Overwater Bungalows (LVX Collection), Hotel Mousai Cancun – A Tafer Resort (LVX Collection), and Galería Plaza León (Lifestyle Collection), among others. This expansion solidifies Mexico’s position as a key market for the global hospitality brand.
The company’s success in Mexico can be attributed to its diverse portfolio, which includes popular leisure destinations like Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and Acapulco, as well as major business hubs such as Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara.
Beyond Mexico, Preferred Hotels & Resorts has been actively expanding its global footprint. In 2024 alone, the company added over 70 new properties, including luxury establishments in Dubai, Los Angeles, Costa Rica, Croatia, Spain, Argentina, Nicaragua, Mauritius, and Turkey.
