Puerto Vallarta has once again ranked among the top three international destinations for Valentine’s Day travel among Americans.
A recent study conducted by Allianz Partners, analyzing over 1.6 million travel itineraries from the United States, revealed that Puerto Vallarta is a popular choice for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The destination joins Cancún and Los Cabos as the top three Mexican beach destinations preferred by American travelers for Valentine’s Day, surpassing other international destinations like Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and England.
The study also showed a significant 43% increase in searches for Puerto Vallarta travel from the United States compared to the previous year. The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board attributes this success to the city’s stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife, and diverse range of activities.
