Puerto Vallarta is taking a significant step towards digital transformation with the launch of a new online platform for business permits. The “Ventanilla Única” (One-Stop Shop) will allow citizens to apply for and manage their business licenses entirely online, eliminating the need for in-person visits and long queues.
This initiative, spearheaded by the government of Luis Munguía, aims to streamline bureaucratic processes and make it easier for citizens to access municipal services. The platform will be accessible from the comfort of homes or offices, offering a convenient and efficient way to conduct business with the city.
Ángel Marcial Carrillo, head of the Smart Government Management, led the first meeting to discuss the details of the project. The online platform will specifically focus on business licensing and operation permits, reducing red tape and improving the overall experience for entrepreneurs and business owners.
The platform is scheduled to be completed by October of this year and is expected to be fully operational by January 2026.
