Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) has announced a significant 9.1% increase in total passenger traffic for April 2025 compared to the same month in 2024. Passenger numbers rose from 5.07 million to 5.53 million.The airports in Tijuana, Guadalajara, Los Cabos, and Puerto Vallarta were the main contributors to this positive result. Specifically within Mexico, the 12 airports operated by GAP collectively experienced a 9.9% rise in passenger traffic. Tijuana reported a 10.0% increase, Guadalajara saw a 9.0% rise, Los Cabos experienced an 8.7% growth, and Puerto Vallarta recorded a 5.7% increase, all in comparison to April of the previous year.
For the cumulative period from January to April 2025, GAP reported a total of 21.79 million passengers, representing a 5.4% increase compared to the 20.67 million passengers in the same period of 2024.
